This event will not only mark the official debut of two remarkable pieces being added to the museum’s collection but also celebrate the unwavering support and dedication of the local Irish-American community to the mission of the IGHMF.
Donated for this special event, the emotive bronze piece symbolizes enduring love and resilience, themes that resonate deeply with the museum’s mission. Notably, the most recent edition of Later Love was auctioned at Ireland’s Solomon’s Galleries, where it fetched an impressive €11,000, underscoring the significant value and admiration Gillespie’s work commands. This donation promises to add both artistic and historical richness to the gala festivities.
